RIP Big Pun♥♥♥

Christopher Lee Carlos Rios (November 10, 1971 – February 7, 2000), better known by his stage name Big Pun (short for Big Punisher), was a Puerto Rican rapper who emerged from the underground rap scene in The Bronx in the late 1990s. He first appeared on albums from The Beatnuts, on the track "Off the Books", and on Fat Joe's second album Jealous One's Envy, on the track "Watch Out", prior to signing to Loud Records as a solo artist. Big Pun's career was cut short in 2000 at age 28 when he died of a fatal heart attack

Catching Up..

Damn its been a minute since I last wrote a blog. I've been sooo busy between work, photo shoots and videos. Its crazy. lol. But I love it. Oh yeah, I'm gonna set up a ustream in the next couple of days so be on the look out for me. I also have a skype, you can look me up *Juicy Arista*. Anyway, I wanted to update you all, I have a lot going on right now. I'm getting ready to move to South Carolina with my hubby. Yes, I'm leaving the good old DMV once again, but this time I'm not coming back. Hubby and I got job opportunities there and with the cost of living being way cheaper there we've decided to dip, but I'll be back to visit I always do. Plus it will be much easier for me to continue my modeling career down south. I am gonna miss it here, but its not like this is the first time I've left. By the way, I'm leaving this weekend, lol. Well I don't want to ramble on about my move, so here's a sneak peak at one of my recent photo shoots. Enjoy:)

Last Day of 2009

Its the last day of 2009 and I can say that I'm happy to see it go, only so I can start a fresh new year. This year has had its ups and downs and I'm just happy to know that I'm going into a new year healthy, happy and blessed. I've come along way over this year, lost weight, got my mojo back, a new job, made new friends, got a new place and my baby and I are celebrating another year together. Looking back there are a few things I wanted to do, but I guess it will have to happen next year or should I say tomorrow. lol. I've learned a lot this year and I think I've even gotten a little wiser. I really have no complaints because I experienced different things over the past year. I finally opened up I guess you could say. Well, that's all folks, until next year. Happy New Year! Have a fun and safe night:)

For those who don't know who you are, why don't you tell them about yourself. What's your name?

I am Amber Christian. Model from Maryland. I do fashion shows, help build some photographers portfolios in the area and i do some club hosting on the side.

When and how did you start modeling?
I started modeling in 2008. a photographer saw some photos of me and contacted me for a shoot. from there i just started doing photoshoots for flyers, MUA's and photogs ports as well as fashion shows.

What is your career objective?
My career objective is to be a role model to the models who are not standard in height and size. I'm helping to break that barrier and show these agencies and entertainment companies that it doesn't matter what your stats are, as long as you are educated and can bring it!

Who are some of your idols?
Tyra banks, Eva the diva, and Kate moss.

What separates you from the average model; What do you bring to the table?
I have a very colorful personality. those who know me know for a fact I'm not one of those uppity females who doesn't speak or acknowledge competition. if your fierce, you just are. i wont hate on you. and i am quick to jump out and do what others don't want to do, or say, in the most respectable way possible. i like the wow factor!!


What are your pet peeves and biggest turn ons?
lol @ pet peeves, there are so many. in people just the lack of support. men, the ones with talent but no drive to do something with it. turns on's are hard working men who can take care of themselves and have respect for all women.

Are you currently single? If yes, are you looking?
Yes I'm currently single. i cant say I'm looking because I'm so busy...it will have to look for me.

What's the craziest thing a guy has done to get your attention?
I couldn't say. lol.

Favorite food?
So hard to choose 1. lol. lets just say soul food, seafood, and fruit.

What are you currently working on? Do you have anything in the future the public should look out for?
Right now I'm working on a few fashion shows. one is for Creative Hysteria. Hey CH! as for the public, just catch me on the runway, a few videos and some acting in the future.

Where do you see yourself in 5years?
I see myself as one of the elite models not just in the DMV but abroad. I see skyscrapers and sandy white beaches looking at myself on screen and billboards.

Any suggestions you would like to give to aspiring models?
Know who you are. there are people competing who will try to bring you down and make u their step stool. educated yourself and be aware of the people you network with and your surroundings.

Last words to the fans ? Shout outs?
We are a big family, a movement to bring recognition to all the talent in the DC/MD/VA area. If we support each other, its no telling how far we can go. Shout Outs: My Creative Hysteria Family, Friends, and all the talent in the DMV. Thank you all so much.
